Instructions for printing PDF’s on Humility and Obedience

Printing instructions are for North American Letter paper (8.5 in. x 11 in.).
If using A4, be sure to set your printer to have booklet pages aligned at the centre of the pages. Using “Scale to Fit Page” or “Align Centre” or similar function should do this.

Printing using a quality paper with a design or pattern, or using a coloured paper, makes a more attractive booklet. A heavier weight bond (24 – 32 lb / 90 – 120 gsm) creates a more favourable feel to the booklet for many people.

Our experience is that card stock (50 lb+ / 180 gsm+) is too heavy for the small booklets, yet it works well for the cover stock of the larger booklets.

Trust pdf
This will print 2 copies of a 4 page mini booklet.

Landscape orientation; Double Sided.
Cut printed page in half, and fold each copy.
(If using A4 paper, trim excess paper.)

Humility pdf
This will print 2 copies of a 4 page mini booklet.

Landscape orientation; Double Sided.
Cut printed page in half, and fold each copy.
(If using A4 paper, trim excess paper.)

Surrender pdf
This will print 1 copy of an 8 page mini booklet.

Landscape orientation; Double Sided.
Cut printed page in half.
Stack the cut halves together, in proper order.
Fold into booklet; Staple at centre of the fold.
(If using A4 paper, trim excess paper.)

Humility + Trust pdf
This will print 2 copies of 2 different 4 page mini booklets.

Landscape orientation; Double Sided.
Cut printed page in half, and fold each copy.
(If using A4 paper, trim excess paper.)

Confidence pdf

This will print 1 copy of an 8 page full size booklet.

Print as “Booklet” using printer dialogue settings.
(you may have to experiment, as each printer uses different setting for Double Sided printing of “Booklet” – use less expensive paper to experiment)
Suggestion: use card stock for pages 1,2,7,8 booklet
use regular paper for pages 3,4,5,6 booklet
(2 separate print operations)
Align and stack the 2 printed pages: Fold in half.
Use 2 staples on the fold, one high, and one low.
(If using A4 paper, trim excess paper.)
